A History of Awarding Excellence in Hajj and Umrah

The WHUC Awarding body founded in 2011 has had the noble privilege in celebrating the best in Hajj and Umrah from across the globe. Over the past 8 years our team of dedicated researchers have evolved the WHUC Awarding Criteria to such an extent, that when the WHUC acclaims a winner, they are truly and undeniably the best of the best in their country and in their category.

This year the WHUC shall re-evaluate its entire judging process as well as extending the period of research from 3 months to 6 months. Our 150 contributing judges from across 50 Countries shall ensure the governance processes as well as research standards are un-paralleled, fair and most of all observed under the strict guidelines of the WHUC.

Visualise Our Philosophy

The WHUC advocates the enhancement, enrichment and empowerment of Pilgrims through a three tier matrix defined as Social, Commercial and Educational. At the WHUC we believe that attention of care should be extended prior to the Pilgrims’ departure, during the Pilgrimage and after the Pilgrims’ safe return.

To encourage this level of care and attention, the Hajj and Umrah fraternity is required to acknowledge and reward companies, organisations and individuals; recognising “Award Worthy Excellence” creating an atmosphere of perpetual motivation to be better and to be the best.

For the first time in Awards History, the WHUC shall also recognise the worst performing entities from each Country; identifying privileged companies unable to uphold the basic values of the Hajj and Umrah Pilgrimage code of conduct and ethics.

WHUC Excellence Awards – Saudi Arabia

The rightful home for such Prestigious Awards is Saudi Arabia; home to the two holiest cities in Islam, Makkah & Madinah and the home of the two greatest acts of worship for devout Muslims, Hajj and Umrah.

Our Awards Presentation team here in Saudi Arabia has selected the Ritz Carlton Palace in Jeddah as the host venue for the WHUC Excellence Awards 2019. The Ritz Carlton Palace luxury and attention to detail is unmatchable, a fitting destination for honoring all those that served the Hajj and Umrah Pilgrimage paying attention to details and delivering with efficacy.

WHUC Awarding the Best of the Best

The WHUC Excellence Awards platform is a prestigious honor reserved only for the absolute best. This platform shall recognise the Best in Hajj Excellence and the Best in Umrah Excellence, awarding a single winner from each Country in their respective categories.

Our review of performance extends in evaluating the performance of the Hajj and Umrah sector in its entirety and across the board. Our researchers shall gain feedback on all services provider performances that contribute to the eco-system of Hajj and Umrah.
